2023 district assembly elections: we give  Bawumia showdown in his backyard – NDC

Though, the district level elections is said to be none partisan, with political parties being cautioned not politicize the process of electing the assembly members, but it seems politicians have smartly found a way to place party people in every elections period.

And as the NPP national organiser, Henry Nana Boakye is reported to have said that about 58 percent of the candidates who have won in the just ended elections are NPP members, the NDC in the Walewale constituency, where the vice president and NPP flagbearer votes have brought out results from the area, indicating that Nana B’s statement is not true

According to the NDC, the Dr. Bawumia’s constituency has 31 electoral areas, and of this, 17 assembly members who have emerged as victors are affiliated to the opposition NDC, whereas 14 are affiliated to the NPP.
