2024 elections : I pray & use my everything for JM to win to save Ghana – Sheikh Basha Dujana

Son of Sheikh Ibrahim Basha, who is the leader of Darul Tawheed, Dr. Abu Dujana Basha has declared that he will will use strength and everything to ensure that the flagbearer of the opposition NDC, John Dramani Mahama wins the December elections this year.

Dr. Abu Dujana who is a P.R.O. to Ahlusunah wal-Jamaah made the remarks today, June 16, after this year’s Eid in Tamale, when he was speaking to the media after observing the Eid.

“I am using this opportunity to call on the youth to restrain themselves from engaging in any form of violence in this year’s elections. We need peace during and after the elections”, Dr. Abu Dujana told the journalists.

“But me, Abu Dujana, my preoccupation and concern is to get John Mahama elected. I will usey everything ; money, time, energy and resources to ensure this materializes. I am not hiding this. It is John Mahama I want to win. He is the one I think can come to save the country”, he added.

According to him, it does not matter whether John Mahama’s opponent is a Muslim or not, what matters is the person’s ability to make life better for his people by proffering solutions to the challenges in the country.

“Let me add, it is not about whether my Muslim brother is in the race or not. It is about the country’s progress. Anyone who can manage the country well needs our attention and support. If my Muslim brother will lead astray and non Muslim will take me to the promised land, I will vote for the non Muslim”, Sheikh Ibn Bayaan concluded.

The governing NPP is presenting a Muslim for the first time, leading them into a crucial elections, with some of his supporters saying Muslims should vote for him.
