Member of NDC National Executive Committee, Godfred Apasinaba Wumbei also known as King Yellow has stated that the party will not sit aloof and allow it’s supporters to be killed like it happened in 2020 elections.
Speaking exclusively on radio Tamale’s Bugum Beni today Friday, October 6, the NEC member said if any of NDC’s supporters is killed during the elections, 50 will be killed to avenge the death.
“If one us (NDC’s ) supporters is killed any group, 50 of them will be killed to avenge the killing. We won’t allow that to happen again. We have had it from NPP up to our neck. And are well prepared for them in 2024”, King Yellow told the host.
According to him, if the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia leads the NPP in the next elections, the party will get only 33% of the votes, because the veep has not been up to the task.
He described Dr. Bawumia as a liar whose contributions led the country to this economic situation Ghanaians are struggling to heal from.
“Where is the 1 million dollars per constituency? Where are all the promises Dr. Bawumia made to Ghanians before 2016 elections? Has he fulfilled them? He is simply a liar we can’t trust”, he stated.
