The footprints of Alhaji Aliu Mahama, shall forever glow. The seeds he sowed whilst alive would blossom beyond the imagination of the ordinary eye.
Alhaji Aliu Mahama was a foundation member of NPP in 1992. A party he has worked for with his resources. It was not for nothing, but God’s Grace, he was chosen as a running mate for the 2000 election and subsequently, the first Muslim Vice President and the first from northern region as a Veep.
After serving Ghana as a Veep and out of office with NPP in opposition, he continued to work for Ghana as a statesman and the party like a footsoldier.
Alhaji Aliu Mahama died whilst campaigning for the party. It is not to suggest he is the only person who died whilst campaigning.
Do not attempt to destroy someone’s son’s future, whilst seeking to build a good future for your sons and daughters.
It would be the highest form of dishonesty to wish his son lose an election, just to satisfy someone’s ego and interest!
