Some prominent members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the  constituency have defected to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a video chanced on by dominancetv.com, key supporter of Kennedy Agyapong in the last presidential primaries of the NPP, NPP Murijana as she is popularly known is seen campaigning for the NDC parliamentary candidate, Attah Issah.

According to her, she and many other agrieved party supporters have gotten to a point where they have no choice but to join the NDC ahead of the 2024 elections.

She said politics is supposed to be used to develop communities and the people, but it seems the opposite is what she the see in the NPP, their former party, hence, the decision to join the NDC.
