Breaking news: NPP Communications Director sacks Farouk from serial callers group

The NPP Northern Regional Communication Director, Yussif Danjumma has sacked secretary of serial callers group, Umar Farouk Sabonjida from group.

This became public following the director’s statement released this evening of Tuesday, February 20 to announce the decision.

It is not yet clear what actually triggered this, but portion of the statement said, “Following your attitude before the communication committee on the 17th February, 2024 and on the 19th February, 2024 relative to your involvement in the matter of the Serial callers, I wish to communicate the following to you as the outcome of the management meeting.”

“The committee found you guilty of violating section C.4.2 of the party’s constitutions as a serial caller, hence made recommendations which were subsequently approved by the general house at a meeting on 19h February, 2024. In view of these and in line with the guidelines and ground rules governing the conduct of communicators, I regret to inform you that”, the statement added.

Below is a detailed of the content of the dismissal statement:

1. You are hereby sacked from the Serial Callers group and any of its affiliates until there are enough reasons to readmit you into the group based on your conduct.

3. Your readmission would be preceded by signing of another bond of good behavior and an apology letter.

4. You would be dismissed forever from the serial callers’ group should you defy any of the above sanctions.

5. Any breach of this reference by either you or any member of the group shall attract disciplinary action.
