The NPP Northern Regional Organizer, Alhaji Rashid Salifu has disclosed that the the jingle DJ Carlos composed for the NPP parliamentary candidate hopeful in the Yendi constituency is destroying the NPP in the region, describing it as “divisive”.

He said this when he appeared on radio Tamale’s weekend political talkshow dubbed – Boot 4 Boot, to stop the party’s member, Mohammed Bondirigbum from speaking on the matter of the jingles.

According to the field marshal as he is affectionately called by many in the northern politics, the jingle is not only meant to attack the Yendi MP, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama, but to destroy the NPP in the constituency too.

In the said jingle, DJ Carlos described the incumbent MP as a liar and a man purported to not keeping his words while painting a picture of the MASLOC boss, Hajia Abibata Saani Mahama as the right person for the job.
