Gender Minister, who doubles as MP for Walewale Constituency, Hajia Abudu Zuwera Lariba has been relieved of her post as minister by the president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.

The announcement came today’s Tuesday, February 14, where the minister’s name was contained in a list of minister’s affected by the recent reshuffle.

It will be recalled that Madam Abudu Lariba was defeated in the just ended parliamentary primaries of the NPP held on January 27 this year.

Until her appointment in 2022, she was the  Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, who was appointed to take over from dismissed Sarah Adwoa
Safo.
