If I had manager like Fancy Gadam’s Nero, I’d have been far gone – Maccassio

FUSEINI SAFIANU

Sheriff Abdul-Majeed, known in the northern Showbiz as King Maccassio has said that lack of proper management is affecting musicians in the north, especially him.

He said this when he appeared on radio Tamale’s Bugum Beni with Halik Musah a.k.a. Mr. Tell today October 11, 2023, saying that if he had someone like Nero, who was managing his rival, Fancy Gadam, he would have been far away from the North in his career.

When asked why musicians in the northern region are not working to move from their comfort zone, he said, “Lack of management. Look at the way Nero was supporting Fancy Gadam. He helped him to win awards. If I had a manager like that, I would have been somewhere far away.”

“If Nero didn’t come to here, by now Fancy Gadam would have been off the scene completely”, Maccassio concluded.

There have been complains in the northern music industry regarding its stagnation and how it affects the musicians, especially upcoming ones, though everyone believes proper management is the way to go.
