Chief of Bogu traditional community, Naa Tia Salifu has expressed his disappoinment in the organizers of the Northern Movie Awards for failing to honor or award his efforts and contributions to the Northern movie industry and the northern movie awards.

The third (3rd) edition of Northern Movie Awards which came in February, saw Naa Bogu Naa Tia Salifu as the Chairman of the night, where he sat there throughout the night and was made to present the ultimate category, ”Overall Actor Of Year”.

Speaking to HYPE TV after receiving a citation of honor from organizers of the Northern Ghana TikTokers Awards, Bogu Naa Tia Salifu said he was expecting same honour and recognition from the organizers of the Northern Movie Awards, for his relentless efforts in supporting the movie industry and the award scheme.

According to him, this is a wake up call for the organizers to start appreciating the efforts of dignitaries they invite to such events. Watch him speak below,
