Information reaching dominancetv.com in the northern part of Ghana indicates that a mother has been allegedly tortured by her daughter’s boyfriend for not supporting their relationship.

According to a presenter at Radio Grin at the University for Development Studies (UDS) in Nyankpala, Godwin A. Apullah, this has become a norm by the boyfriend of the woman’s daughter, who believed the mother has become an obstacle in his way.

The relatives of the victim leaving in Northern Region confirmed that the incident happened in the Volta Region, where the mother, daughter and the boyfriend are.

“The elder daughter of the woman reported the case to the police and the case is in court but the family can’t afford a lawyer and the case is almost a foolish case because of the man’s links with the police”, Godwin wrote on Facebook.

“They need a lawyer or any who can help with this case. Inbox me if you can help”, he added.
