NPP primaries : bikura levels, as Soya-Lana, Anta & Tampuli go unopposed

As interested persons crisscrossing across the length and breath of the Northern Region in the nine (9) constituencies to file to enable them contest the upcoming parliamentary primaries in NPP slated for January 27 next year, only three (3) will be going unopposed.

The dominancetv.com can confirm that fifteen (15) party members including the incumbents have picked forms and have duly filed today Monday, December 25.

The constituencies and aspirants  are listed below.

1. Tolon Constituency – Alhaji Habib Iddrisu

2. Gushegu constituency- Lawyer Alhassan Sulemana Tampuli

3. Karaga Constituency – Dr Adam Mohammed Amin ( Anta)

4. Yendi- Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah and Alhaji Farouk Aliu

5. Mion Constituency- Abdul- Aziz Ayaba and Musah Superior

6. Bimbila- Hon Dominic Nitiwu and Ahmed Zaruk Nuhu

7. Nanton constituency-  Kamal-Deen Abdulai and Hardi Tuferu

8. Zabzugu – John Bennam and Ali Fawaz

9. Tatali/Sanguli Thomas Mbomba and Hon Tiyala  Solomon

The above are those who have finished with their bank drafts as of 5 pm on Friday, December, 22, 2023.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday are non banking and holidays.

A news story on Voiceless Media said, “Any interested Aspiring Parliamentary Candidate on the ticket of the NPP who did not pick a form will not have any opportunity to participate in the Parliamentary primaries slated for January, 27, 2024.”

And this means that only Tolon, Gushegu and Karaga constituencies won’t be having contest.
