Pay to meet President : NPP Alhaji Sunday, Asenso fingered in 20k bribe

The first regional vice chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party NPP in the Northern Region, Alhaji Iddrisu Sunday and  Francis Asenso-Boakye who was deputy chief of staff under the Akufo-Addo’s first term have been fingered in a bribery allegations.

According to the white man named Claude Convincer Davit in a short video being circulated on social media, he alleges that in 2017 the then Deputy Chief of Staff at the Office of the President Asenso-Boakye solicited a bribe from him in order to grant him access to the President.

He further alleged that Alhaji Sunday who was and still the first vice chairman of the NPP in the Northern Region linked him up with Mr. Asenso who was supposed to use his influence to help him gain assess to the president, Nana Akufo-Addo.

He said the money was for a factory he, white man was supposed to establish in the Yendi municipal, adding that because he the 20,000 dollars, the gentlemen refused to help, and let alone the factory, all because Asenso didn’t get his 20k.
