Pressure, as Nanton MP wants electorates  to reject Kamaldeen’s cement donated for  school

The MP for Nanton Constituency, Alhaji Hardi Tuferu has allegedly called on the people of Chankpeng, a suburb of the district to reject a donation by his opponent in the upcoming parliamentary primaries, Alhaji Abdulai Kamaldeen towards the building of a school block for the community.

According to radio Tamale’s sources in the Nanton Constituency, the residents of the community in question made a request to the MP’s contender during his campaign in the area to help them build the school, which he made a donation of 100 bags of cement and 5 trips of sea sand.

The sources say it was after this gesture the MP, who doubles as deputy agric minister called on some influential persons in Chankpeng to reject the cement and the sea sand, and that he was ready to do more of what Alhaji Kamaldeen has done for them.

Alhaji Hardi is reported to have said he was about to construct the school when when Alhaji Kamaldeen came into the picture with his donation, saying that the people should wait for him to come and that for them.
