Sagnarigu NPP Felicia Tettey supports Faila’s cook-athon with GHC 5,000

In an effort aimed at showing support and encouragement, the New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Sagnarigu, has made a donation of Ghc 5000 towards Abdul Razak Faila’s Guinness World Record-breaking attempt for the longest cooking marathon. 

Faila’s ambitious cooking endeavor which aims to dethrone Irish Alan Fisher who currently holds the record for cooking nonstop for 119 hours is set to take place from January 1st to January 5th at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.

With Faila and her team currently working around the clock to ensure that all necessary arrangements are put in place for a successful attempt, Mrs. Felicia Tettey’s donation will go a long way to help the preparations for the record-breaking event.

Presenting the money on her behalf, the Felicia campaign expressed admiration for Faila’s determination and praised his relentless pursuit of excellence. The campaign said Faila’s vision for embarking on this cookathon aligns with Felicia Tettey’ for Sagnarigu which is centered on fostering growth, innovation, and recognizing outstanding achievements. 

Felicia Tettey’s benevolent donation, made on behalf of her parliamentary campaign, serves as a significant motivational boost for Faila, who is preparing to embark on a remarkable culinary journey. The candidate’s generous contribution demonstrates her unwavering support for local achievements and community initiatives.

Overwhelmed by the gesture, Abdul Razak Faila, who is the CEO for Mickey’s Inn, expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards Felicia Tettey for her generous donation. She acknowledged that the support of the candidate, who herself has a culinary background, will not only boost her morale but also serves as a testament to the community’s unity and commitment towards achieving remarkable goals.

Faila is the second Ghanaian this week to make an attempt at a Guinness World Record. Her endeavor which will start at Midnight on New Year’s Day and ends around same time on Friday[January 5] comes just days after Efua Asantewaa completed an attempt to break the longest singing record by an individual.
