In an effort aimed at showing support and encouragement, the New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Sagnarigu, has made a donation of Ghc 5000 towards Abdul Razak Faila’s Guinness World Record-breaking attempt for the longest cooking marathon.
Faila’s ambitious cooking endeavor which aims to dethrone Irish Alan Fisher who currently holds the record for cooking nonstop for 119 hours is set to take place from January 1st to January 5th at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.
With Faila and her team currently working around the clock to ensure that all necessary arrangements are put in place for a successful attempt, Mrs. Felicia Tettey’s donation will go a long way to help the preparations for the record-breaking event.
Presenting the money on her behalf, the Felicia campaign expressed admiration for Faila’s determination and praised his relentless pursuit of excellence. Her endeavor which will start at Midnight on New Year’s Day and ends around same time on Friday[January 5] comes just days after Efua Asantewaa completed an attempt to break the longest singing record by an individual.
