The NPP Northeast Regional Chairman of Council of Elders, Naa Nabila Sulemana is blaming the vice president and flagbearer of the party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his inability to resolve the internal wrangling of the party in Walewale Constituency.

He said this in an exclusive interview with JoyNews following the postponement of the court  case in the matter of the recent parliamentary primaries involving the former MP, Hajia Lariba Abudu and the winner, Dr. Kabiru Mahama Tia.

Account to the council of elders chair, the vice president could talk to the former MP, who is a sister to the veep.

“It’s not a leadership failure on any body’s part. Maybe , it is a leadership failure on the part of the vice president. He knows too well that people organized the party and he came and he is now where he is. Since it started, he has never called me one day to ask about this incident”, he told the JoyNews.

“The problem is, they say Lariba is the sister and he don’t want to disgrace the sister But if you don’t want to disgrace your sister, your sister will disgrace you. That is it. If you don’t want to disgrace your sister, your sister will disgrace you. There’s a saying in our  language that a big calabash full of water if I won’t drink it, you won’t also drink it that is what is happening today”, he added.
