Member of Parliament MP for Karaga constituency, Dr. Amin Adam Anta has said that the government of the New Patriotic Party NPP has always brought developmental projects to the people of Tamale, indicating the party’s love for the area than the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC.

The former mayor of Tamale Metropolis said this when he was addressing supporters of the NPP at the Tamale jubilee park during an event organised by the party for its newly elected flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to thank the people for their support during his election.

“The people of Tamale, why is it that anytime any government that loves you, you don’t want to give your support to that government. Let’s watch around and see the works of various governments. Tamale Sports Studium, now Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium was constructed by President Kufour’s government. All the streets lights in Tamale are by NPP government. Even this venue, Jubilee Park, is by NPP government”, the Karaga legislator told the NPP supporters.

“We have interchange there, it is also by NPP government. Tamale Teaching Hospital is another project by the NPP government. Remember, the work on it started in March 2009. Where would a new government that was 3 months old be able to do that. These is the work of NPP for you, why are you not voting for NPP?”, Dr. Anta asked the people.

He however concluded by asking the NDC to show what they have done for the people of Tamale, if there is any, saying that the NPP is the only political party that has the people at heart, looking at the developmental projects brought to the area anytime NPP is in power.
