NPP guys stormed Eagle FM 94.1Mhz in Walewale lastnight (13 June 2024) to attack their colleague party member who was in the studio talking about the court case between Hajia Lariba and Dr Tia Mahama Kabiru.

The “disputed” election was taken to the Tamale High Court after the MP for Walewale and the immediate former minister for gender, children, and social protection, Hajia Lariba Abudu Zuwera was defeated by Dr Mahama Tia Abdul Kabiru.

The votes difference between Hajia Lariba and Dr Kabiru was less than 10 votes, thus, 138 and 145 votes respectively.

Musah, son of the NPP North East Regional Council of Elders chairman walked with anger into the studio and started beating up one Haadi (a.k.a Yaagsim) who is a resident of Kperiga in Walewale.

Apparently, the youth, especially the NPP guys mobilized and rushed to the station to retaliate but Musah left the studios before the arrival of the irate youth who had wanted to give him a showdown for violently walking to the studios and started showing his muscles on the guy.

The court issue has since been a topic for discussion in Walewale as the leadership of the party failed to address it amicably.

The host, DJ Hakim was helpless in the studio but managed to rescue Haadi from further attacks.
