The campaign team for NPP presidential candidate hopeful, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has lambasted the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his team, demanding that the latter should mention one thing he has done for north, where he comes from.

Ken’s campaign team said this when the members were reacting to statement from their opponents called Northern Forum who in a similar press conference condemned the Assin Central Constituency MP, saying that he hated Northers.

“Kennedy Agyapong has donated generator to TTH. He has supported Tamale Dakpema’s education fund with 10,000 GHC. Meanwhile, he is not from here. He has used his personal money to buy a brand new pickup for the Mion Lana Andulai”, secretary of the team, Rafiq Ankumah said.

“Ladies and gentlemen, let me also add that it took the likes of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong who has no traces of maternally or paternally to donate hundreds of cooking oil and 50kg rice to Northern Regional library. Where were they?”, the Ken’s team asked.

They also accused the Northern Forum for twisting the comments by Kennedy Agyapong for political goals, which they believed was meant to unite the NPP, saying that even though ken is not from the North, but he has performed better than Bawumia who is a northerner.

“Dr. Bawumia at 60 years, yet he can’t point one thing he has done for the North”, they concluded.
