It is rather interesting, if not surprising to see the MP for Yendi, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama kneeling down before the father of Alhaji Amadu Inusah Dagomba Boy, who recently contested the party’s regional chairman against the incumbent and lost.

The Yendi legislator according to sources sent his parliamentary nomination form Alhaji Amadu Dagomba Boy, who son is a key supporter of the MP’s opponent in the upcoming parliamentary primaries for blessings before filing.

Our sources say the old man actually prayed for the son of the late vice president to spiritually fortify him against anything that will bar him from winning the  primaries to retain the seat for the NPP.

It will be recalled that the former Yendi constituency chairman said on Zaa TV that he salvage the Yendi sear from going into opposition, someone must take over from the MP, else the he will be defeated in the general elections.

Alhaji Inusah couldn’t give detailed reasons, but sources say he is not supporting the MP because of he, FAM supported chairman Samba against Dagomba Boy and even celebrated, when chairman Samba won.
