You sold Tamale North for a pickup – NPP constituency organiser fires chairman short

The NPP Tamale North Constituency Organizer, Alhaji Abdulai Abdul Nasiru has alleged that the chairman for his area, Chairman Sadat Dagali sold the entire party in the constituency for the pickup he is driving.

He made this allegations on radio Tamale’s evening political talkshow dubbed – Yelvuhi Dundongni tonight, October 31 with Abdul Shakur Omae when he was commenting on the vice president’s meeting with the constituency delegates and matters arising recently.

“Chairman Short sold our constituency for just a pickup (from Kennedy Agyapong). Meanwhile his candidate vying to lead the party as flagbearer is lying that others have taken pickups before before voting for Dr. Bawumia during the special delegates elections”, the constituency organiser alleged.

When pushed by the if he had evidence to that effect, he answered in affirmative, explaining that it was as a result chairman’s denial to support Dr. Bawumia in his bid to lead the NPP that Ken Agyapong’s team agreed to give him the car.

The NPP Tamale North organiser was in the studio to refute allegations that his chairman was sacked from the venue Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia met their delegates to canvass for their votes ahead of the November 4 congress.

According to Alhaji Nafiu, even though they invited the chairman, but they latter picked intelligence that he was coming there to disrupt the meeting to retaliate the incident at WAEC HALL, when Ken Agyapong was meeting the Sagnarigu constituency delegates.

At that meeting, Mr. Agyapong also alleged that the vice president’s campaign team gave some constituency chairmen pickups to woo them in voting during the special delegates elections on August 26.

But the Sagnarigu NPP chairman, Chairman Dangoma took offense of that and decided to speak against the comments by Kennedy Agyapong, resulting in altercation between supporters of the two (2) individuals.
